Campaign or Battle Card Driven
The Campaign/Battle Card Driven mechanic is a relatively recent development in wargames that focuses the players' actions on cards they have in their hand. Performing a single action uses a single card; cards will often be multi-purpose.

Familiar Tales

Familiar Tales is an exciting narrative game where players take on the roles of a wizard’s familiars, entrusted with saving and raising a displaced princess. They must keep her safe from the evil forces that would see her dead, but when it comes to children, it is not enough to merely survive! The familiars know that every choice they make will affect the young one in their care. If they are victorious and the throne is reclaimed, what kind of woman will sit upon it?

Gloomhaven

Players will take on the role of a wandering mercenary with their own special set of skills and their own reasons for traveling to this remote corner of the world. Players must work together out of necessity to clear out menacing dungeons and forgotten ruins. In the process they will enhance their abilities with experience and loot, discover new locations to explore and plunder, and expand an ever-branching story fueled by the decisions they make. This is a persistent game that is intended to be played over many game sessions. After a scenario, players will make decisions on what to do, which will determine how the story continues, kind of like a "Choose Your Own Adventure" book.

Roll Player Adventures

Roll Player Adventures is a cooperative storybook board game for 1-4 players set in the world of Roll Player. Player characters face challenges, explore new lands, make friends and enemies, solve puzzles, fight monsters and make important decisions that will shape the story as they progress through 11 core adventures and a re-playable side quest.

Seafall

In SeaFall, you lead your province in a campaign to become the Emperor of your world. You’ll play many individual games in this campaign, during which you will earn points, called glory. Glory is recorded in two ways: game glory (your score during an individual game) and campaign glory (your overall score for the campaign). The player with the most campaign glory at the end of the campaign is the winner. An individual game ends when a player’s glory total meets or exceeds the glory target at the end of a round. Game glory is reset each game. While winning an individual game provides a reward, keep in mind that it’s only a step towards your larger goal
