Absolute Balderdash
Wild, wacky, hilarious fun. Lie through your teeth and end up a winner.
When you play Absolute Balderdash, the better you are at telling a fib or two, the more likely you are to win. This is the world-famous hilarious bluffing game where you try to "con" your opponents into believing your made-up answers to a weird and wonderful collection of Words, People, Initials, Films and Laws.
Absolute Balderdash positively encourages bluff and double-bluff as contestants pit their wits against one another, by dreaming up and writing down wild and wacky (or positively serious!) answers to the bizarrest of questions.
How would you define "twangdillo"? What is it unlawful to keep in Scottsbluff, Nebraska? (Real answers: The sound made by playing a ukulele and Snowballs in the icebox!)
The hilarity really starts when all these phoney answers are shuffled up with the correct one, and read aloud. Players then try to work out the right answer, and those whose made-up answers get picked score a move on the board. Just because an answer sounds right, it doesn't mean to say it is. Often, the most ridiculous ones turn out to be true. That's what makes Absolute Balderdash so different.
Battlestar Galactica
The Cylons were created to make life easier on the Twelve Colonies. And then the day came when the Cylons decided to kill their masters. After a long and bloody struggle, an armistice was declared and the Cylons left for another world to call their own.
Forty years later, they returned, and brought humanity to the brink of extinction. The remaining humans, led by the crew of the Battlestar Galactica, fled in hope of finding a new home, one known by legend as Earth.
Humanity’s only hope lies in finding Earth’s location while fighting off the unrelenting Cylons. But as resources run low, it is discovered that the enemy can now appear human and has infiltrated the fleet from the inside.
Battlestar Galactica: The Board Game provides a unique gaming experience. Unlike most games where players win individually, Battlestar Galactica is a cooperative game, with the added complication that one or more of the players is a secret Cylon traitor – your entire side will win or lose, and you might not even be certain who is on your side until the game ends!
Mysterium
Will you dare to walk through the gates of the Mysterium manor?
The manor is haunted by a ghost. The circumstances of its death are shrouded in mystery. Psychics gather to reconstruct the events of the crime’s night. They won’t make it without the ghost’s help, whose visions are the only clues they have to discover the truth. The clock is ticking: at dawn, the ghost will disappear!
Mysterium is a thrilling and innovative immersive board game. It reinvents investigation games and cooperative games. Due to its asymmetrical roles, you’ll have a great deal of fun trying to guess what the other players have on their mind, whether you play a Psychic or the ghost.
Walk in the manor, have a seat, and let your sixth sense guide you.
The Resistance
The Empire must fall. Our mission must succeed. By destroying their key bases, we will shatter Imperial strength and liberate our people. Yet spies have infiltrated our ranks, ready for sabotage. We must unmask them. In five nights we reshape destiny or die trying. We are the Resistance!
The Resistance is a party game of social deduction. It is designed for 5-10 players, lasts about 30 minutes, and has no player elimination. The Resistance is inspired by Mafia/Werewolf, yet it is unique in its core mechanics, which increase the resources for informed decisions, intensify player interaction, and eliminate player elimination.
Secrets & Lies
The haunted mansion hides a turbulent past. It sheds light on the strange events that led to the death of the spirit in Secrets & Lies, the second expansion for Mysterium. The task of the seers will be to discover these disturbing events, using their gifts and the 18 new history cards. The spirit will be able to use the 42 new vision cards to help seers as they investigate new suspects, new locations and new objects (6 of each). Come in, your place at the table is waiting for you.
Traders and Barbarians
Well-tried variants such as CATAN Event Cards, Harbormaster, and Catan for Two offer alternatives for customizing the game to your own needs. In addition, the 2-player variant allows you to play the Base Game as well as all scenarios of this expansion against only one opponent.
Over the course of a campaign with five scenarios, the story is told of how things develop on Catan after the first settlements and cities are built.
