Nobody knows who is on their team, or who they can trust. Each turn has the potential to wake Cthulhu and end the world in an instant
Flash Point Fire Rescue
The call comes in… “911, what is your emergency?” On the other end is a panicked response of “FIRE!” Moments later you don the protective suits that will keep you alive, gather your equipment and rush to the scene of a blazing inferno. The team has only seconds to assess the situation and devise a plan of attack – then you spring into action like the trained professionals you are. You must face your fears, never give up, and above all else work as a team because the fire is raging, the building is threatening to collapse, and lives are in danger. You must succeed. You are the brave men and women of fire rescue; people are depending on you. This is what you do every day.
The Empire must fall. Our mission must succeed. By destroying their key bases, we will shatter Imperial strength and liberate our people. Yet spies have infiltrated our ranks, ready for sabotage. We must unmask them. In five nights we reshape destiny or die trying. We are the Resistance! The Resistance is a party game of social deduction. It is designed for 5-10 players, lasts about 30 minutes, and has no player elimination. The Resistance is inspired by Mafia/Werewolf, yet it is unique in its core mechanics, which increase the resources for informed decisions, intensify player interaction, and eliminate player elimination.
Tragic events is an exciting new expansion to flash point: Fire rescue. Included in this expansion are three new specialists, with unique firefighter figures for each: The fire prevention specialist, strategist, and suppression specialist. Also included are the fire and event decks, a new mechanic that makes games more intense and unique. The fire deck replaces the hot Spot mechanic, and ensures that the fire Burns hotter and hotter as the game advances. And then when you least expect it, the fire deck causes events – new and different twists added to your firefighting experience. Forty-two unique events, with 8 Special points of interest, will keep your games of flash point exciting for years to come.
