6
6 is a collaboration between three game designers to provide a collection of light dice games. The tin contains a collection of dice and rules for six games that can be played with them. The games are:
Airstrike: Drop dice sequentially onto the table to obtain a combination of values positions that ensures your bombers make it home.
Dicey Winks: A dexterity game about launching dice from the '6' tin to land your dice near to a target while displacing your opponent's dice.
Foiled: A dueling simulation and bluffing game about selecting the right dice and maneuvers to strike your opponent to push them off the piste.
Slipstream: A risk management racing game, in which turn order is determined by current score.
Triangles: A bidding game in which you must spot and exploit the highest value triangle that you can land your scoring die inside.
Wrestle: Establish the best hold to limit your opponents opportunities to escape it before running out of strength.
Absolute Balderdash
Wild, wacky, hilarious fun. Lie through your teeth and end up a winner.
When you play Absolute Balderdash, the better you are at telling a fib or two, the more likely you are to win. This is the world-famous hilarious bluffing game where you try to "con" your opponents into believing your made-up answers to a weird and wonderful collection of Words, People, Initials, Films and Laws.
Absolute Balderdash positively encourages bluff and double-bluff as contestants pit their wits against one another, by dreaming up and writing down wild and wacky (or positively serious!) answers to the bizarrest of questions.
How would you define "twangdillo"? What is it unlawful to keep in Scottsbluff, Nebraska? (Real answers: The sound made by playing a ukulele and Snowballs in the icebox!)
The hilarity really starts when all these phoney answers are shuffled up with the correct one, and read aloud. Players then try to work out the right answer, and those whose made-up answers get picked score a move on the board. Just because an answer sounds right, it doesn't mean to say it is. Often, the most ridiculous ones turn out to be true. That's what makes Absolute Balderdash so different.
Battlestar Galactica
The Cylons were created to make life easier on the Twelve Colonies. And then the day came when the Cylons decided to kill their masters. After a long and bloody struggle, an armistice was declared and the Cylons left for another world to call their own.
Forty years later, they returned, and brought humanity to the brink of extinction. The remaining humans, led by the crew of the Battlestar Galactica, fled in hope of finding a new home, one known by legend as Earth.
Humanity’s only hope lies in finding Earth’s location while fighting off the unrelenting Cylons. But as resources run low, it is discovered that the enemy can now appear human and has infiltrated the fleet from the inside.
Battlestar Galactica: The Board Game provides a unique gaming experience. Unlike most games where players win individually, Battlestar Galactica is a cooperative game, with the added complication that one or more of the players is a secret Cylon traitor – your entire side will win or lose, and you might not even be certain who is on your side until the game ends!
Celestia
During his travels Gulliver searched for the sky land of Celestia. Serving as the slides of a noble forerunner, brash brawlers set out in search of Celestia's mysterious cities and treasures hidden within them!
Enter them to take part in a hazardous adventure. During the expedition, you will break through these storms, repel attacks by pirates and Damok birds. Who among you will turn out to be the clever pilot?
Chrononauts
What would YOU do with a Time Machine? Would you stop the sinking of the Titanic? Prevent the assassination of JFK? Kill Hitler before WWII? These are just a few of the possibilities in Chrononauts, the award-winning card game of time travel. In Chrononauts, you play a time traveler trying to get back to your unique timeline by changing some of history’s biggest linchpins and watching the way those changes ripple into the future. An excellent discussion starter about how historic events are intertwined.
Citadels
To be selected for the coveted post of Master Builder, you must impress the monarchy by constructing a majestic medieval metropolis. In Citadels, players use the local citizens to acquire gold and build districts to complete their city. Players draft characters each round, looking for those who provide the desired special abilities to further develop their cities—or hinder their opponents' efforts. Hire the elusive Thief and pick one of your rival’s pockets, or commission the Artist to beautify your districts and increase their value. Plot, scheme, and deceive your way to the top as you attempt to predict your opponents’ actions and foil their plans. Only the best city will earn its steward the title of Master Builder.
Cockroach Poker
Eight types of creepy critters are depicted on the Cockroach Poker cards, your job isn't to win, simply to make sure that you don't lose! Players take it in turns to pass a card, face down to one of their opponents and say out load what's on the card. They might bluff, or they might be telling the truth... is it a rat? or is it really a stink bug? The recipient can either accept the card, saying if they think the player is telling the truth or bluffing... or they can peek at the card and pass it on...
Cockroach Poker is a funny bluff game with creatures that no one likes! The player on whom four cards of a kind are palmed off will lose this amusing bluff game. One player offers a card to another player stating what creature is pictured on it - correctly or incorrectly. The player who misjudges the other ends up with the card. "This is a stink bug!” You can peek at the card and pass it on: "Oh no, it‘s a spider!” True or false - who knows? Are you a good bluffer?
Cosmic Encounter
Who—or what—is out there?
Eons ago, your ancestors searched the black void of space for intelligent life. Their search proved fruitless. They were alone. Desolate, they used their technology to send the seeds of life to inhabitable planets across the galaxies. Over millions of years, the alien species evolved, but before the ancestors could see the fruits of their labor, they disappeared.
To aid their children, your ancestors left behind a legacy of advanced technology and hyperspace gates- gifts to encourage communication and harmony between their children. But without the guide of an elder, you and your distant alien cousins must learn to communicate, negotiate, and coexist.
Welcome to the Cosmic Age. The open skies of countless worlds are filled with speeding spaceships, and a panoply of alien species compete to populate the galaxy. Will your people choose to occupy undefended worlds, create peaceful civilizations, or ruthlessly conquer foreign planets? In the quest to colonize the vast cosmos, there are as many paths to victory as there are aliens seeking it. Peace, war, negotiation, betrayal—you never know what will happen in the next encounter!
Crossfire
In Crossfire, players will use deduction, negotiation, and the limited information at their disposal to determine who the VIP is. The agents have been tasked with defending the VIP from hostile attacks, while the Assassins try to ensure that the VIP doesn’t make it to their destination. To complicate things further, Bystanders are also present near the VIP, making it even harder for Agents and Assassins to know who the real threats are.
Daring Dustbunnies
You are one of the magical Dustbunnies living under the sofa. Each time the vacuum cleaner comes out you strive to be recognised as the most daring of all Dustbunnies by risking the dangers of the vortex.
Each round your fate is secretly linked with one of six fluffballs. The closer you can get your fluffball to the vacuum without it being sucked-up the more daring you will seem when the fates are revealed after the contest.
Use your innate control of static, charms you found down the back of the sofa and your unique character powers to collectively propel the balls of fluff across the carpet. The furniture, rugs and even pets you encounter will help and hinder your efforts.
Keep which colour of fluffball fate has handed you a secret, while working out which one your opponents are linked to and then decide which to send up the tube. Choose correctly and your opponent will be the agonised loser while you will rise to fame and glory in the kingdom behind the skirting boards.
Deception Murder in Hong Kong
In Deception: Murder in Hong Kong, players find themselves in a scenario of intrigue and murder, deduction and deception. The rest are investigators, interpreting the clues to solve the crime - and the killer is among them.
Investigators must collaborate and use their wits, their hunches, and their keen deductive insight to correctly identify the means of murder and the key evidence to convict the killer. The murderer must mislead and confuse the investigators to save themselves. Do you have what it takes to see through the lies and catch the criminal in your ranks or will they muddy the waters long enough to get away with murder?
