Pattern Recognition
Players must recognize a known or emergent pattern created by the game components to gain objectives or win the game. This could for instance involve markers, typically with a color or symbol, placed to certain locations on a board, or relative to the other markers, forming an abstract or meaningful pattern, requiring deductive reasoning by players to determine its significance.

Triangles: A bidding game in which you must spot and exploit the highest value triangle that you can land your scoring die inside. Wrestle: Establish the best hold to limit your opponents opportunities to escape it before running out of strength.

Anomia

Pick which card deck you want to play with and shuffle! Split into two piles to form the draw piles. The first player draws a card from either pile and quickly flips it face up in front of them so everyone can see it. Play continues clockwise until a match is found! When symbols on two players’ cards match, both players compete to be the first to call out a correct example of the person, place or thing on the opponent’s card. The winner takes the opponent’s card and forms a winning pile. WATCH OUT! A new match may be revealed. Complete all possible matches before drawing new cards. When a wild card is drawn, place it in between the two draw piles. Matches can now occur between the symbols on the wild card. This wild card remains in play until a new wild card is drawn. If you draw a wild card, you take another turn, after all challenges have been settled. When there are no cards left in the draw piles, each player counts up their winning pile. The player with the most matches wins!

Carcassonne

Players score points by having followers on features as they're completed. The player who makes the most strategic placements of tiles and followers will score the most points and win the game.

Pantone

When we are children, there is a feeling of wonder and accomplishment that comes from visual recognition, being able to identify someone or something with just a look. Pantone™: The Game recaptures this feeling in a competitive and fun game in which players try to recognize characters from pop culture who are represented only by abstract arrangements of colors. The colors are inspired by Pantone™, the world’s leading color expert. When you are the Artist, you choose one of your Character Cards and design a representation of that Character using only color swatches. When one of the other players guesses your creation, you both score points! If no player can guess the Character during a round, a Hint is given at the start of the next round. Each Character Card lists four Hints, with each one reducing the number of points awarded to both the Artist and the player who guesses the Character. The winner is the player who has the most points after each player acts as the Artist three times.
