Zombicide Invader

It’s a new age of exploration as humanity stretches out among the stars. But a truly effective and reliable energy source was still just beyond reach. That is, until Xenium was found on PK-L7. This substance, buried deep in the bowels of the planet, was set to revolutionize space travel, and humanity sent resources out to extract it. Originally, these mining operations were looked at with passivity by the aliens on the planet. But then, something changed. They became fierce, murderous beasts. Now, it’s a fight for survival in the dark reaches of space. In Zombicide: Invader, players must work together if they want to survive the onslaught of murderous aliens. Over the course of several interlocked missions, they must make their way through the tunnels and ruined mining outposts on the planet, leveling up their skills as they go along, looking for gear, and staying one step ahead of the Xenos.

KS Exclusives for Zombicide Invader

Black Ops

When Xenium was first found on PK-L7, it seemed like humanity’s dream. Now, it’s a nightmare. Thankfully, the humans have nightmares of their own to send against the marauding aliens. They’re the Black Ops squad, and they’re going to get as many survivors out of that hellhole as they can. Zombicide: Invader’s Black Ops expansion set lets players dive further into the heart of PK-L7 and fight against the terrible Xenos in new ways. The set includes six new Survivor figures, each with their own dashboard full of special abilities, as well as a new Bot and a new type of Sentry Gun. But they’ll have their work cut out for them, as the Juggernaut Abomination is roaming around. Playing through a new 10-mission campaign, their job is to save people and grab as much Xenium as they can.

Kabuki Gang

The Kabuki Gang is an actual performance troupe that was touring PK-L7’s base when the Xenos attacked. The members of this troupe, most of them with rather shady pasts, didn’t hesitate to pick up arms and face the invaders. Assuming the identity of the characters they were playing in their performance of Yotsuya Kaidan (including traditional wardrobe and masks), these actors scrambled to find whatever they could to help them in their fight. The show, as they say, must go on!

Orphans Gang

Ever since the St Stilton orphanage was burned down during a riot, there has been an Orphans Gang formed by the abandoned survivors of that incident. The gang roams the galaxy, staying out of the way of the authorities and carving out a living by scrounging, scamming, or whatever else works. The Orphans Gang is always ready to welcome new members, as it’s also used to losing members to tragedies such as prison, death, or becoming an adult. Perhaps in a remote mining outpost they can lay low quietly for a while?

Plague Gang

Until recently, the Plague Gang was a scientist unit specialized in dealing with emergency situations in infected environment. The Xenos invasion turned the travelling team and their escorts into hardcore survivors. Smart and flexible, free from normal military protocols, the Plague Gang counts now among the most dangerous teams on PK-L7. They adapt to any situation, and form a spearhead for the counter-attack. Xenos, beware!

Comics Extras

New additions to the game included with the Kickstarter edition of the 128-page "Dead Contact" graphic novel.

They’ve even retained much of their previous personalities, but now twisted in service of the Hunger. Marvel Zombies - A Zombicide Game puts players into the rotting bodies of these tainted heroes. Washington Z.C.

Before the outbreak, many people would complain that their government was full of braindead zombies. Well, now that’s a 100% accurate assessment. The nation’s capital has been overrun, and the U.S. Government has been shut down permanently. But there seems to be a lot of action going on over at the White House. It sounds like there might be some survivors, as well as probably some secure spots to survive against the zombies... hopefully they’re not too infested. In Zombicide: Washington Z.C., players will have all-new challenges facing them during the zombie apocalypse. The set adds new survivors, of course, as well as new missions, but it also brings a new campaign mode where players’ progress is saved between scenarios, letting them start with better gear and skills at the start of the next game. Time is also not on the survivor’s side, as night is falling. Sure, they may be able to stay hidden from zombies in the dark, but it also means that there could suddenly be undead popping up out of the shadows.

Fort Hendrix

Fort Hendrix, a military base in the area, has some connection with the zombie outbreak. We’re just not sure how. Now, our friend Penny is looking for her mom. She worked at Fort Hendrix when the outbreak started, so we’re headed there to see if we can find her... and maybe find out just what’s going on around here. Fort Hendrix is a new expansion for Zombicide 2nd Edition. It adds many new elements to the game, including new Survivors, the new Shooter Zombie, new advanced rules like the Day and Night rules, as well as a 10-mission campaign. Survivors will grow in experience as they continue along, becoming better at taking on the zombie menace while they get to the bottom of just what happened at the base.
